A reading gym for the Quran

Train your eyes here. Return to your Mushaf with confidence.

Mushaf Ready is short, paced practice for Quranic Arabic — helping familiar words feel familiar again, so the reading you already have flows more easily.

Available on iPhone through the App Store.

Private by default. Your progress stays on this device — no account, no sync.

Mushaf Ready's home screen: today's Word Recognition training session and a quiet ledger of past practice.

What this is

A practice tool, not a Quran reader.

Mushaf Ready builds visual recognition — reading whole words by their shape instead of decoding letter by letter. It doesn't replace your Mushaf; it helps you come back to it more prepared.

  • Two training modes
  • All 114 surahs to practice from
  • Your pace and vowel-mark level
  • English & French — the Quran shown in Arabic

From the app

A few real screens.

A session, start to finish

Four calm steps. Five minutes is enough.

  1. Choose a passage

By surah, by juzʼ, a bookmark, or continue where you left off.

  2. Set the tashkeel level

Keep every vowel mark, or read with gradually fewer — from Fully Guided to Rasm.

  3. Train at your pace

Words move at a speed you choose, roughly 40 to 300 words a minute. Slow down or speed up any time.

  4. Notice your progress

A quiet record of sessions, minutes, streak, and how much of the Quran you've covered — kept on your device.

Two ways to practice

Word Recognition and Guided Reading.

Word Recognition

One word at a time, centered and clear. You set the pace and raise it as recognition comes more easily.

Guided Reading

Whole āyāt, with each word highlighted in turn to steady your eye across the line. An optional listen-along recitation is available — experimental, with approximate timing. The visual pacer controls the word highlighting.

Both draw from the same passages and the same tashkeel levels.

Always ungated

The full Quran is here too — as a gift, not a product.

All 114 surahs, with English or French translation, transliteration, and bookmarks. The reading itself is never gated.

The point of it

The goal is to close the app.

This isn't where you read the Quran — it's where you warm up. When the words come more easily here, you carry that ease back to your own Mushaf, with more room to be present.

Available now

Available on iPhone. Android is in beta.

Download Mushaf Ready on iPhone from the App Store. Android testing is underway while we prepare the Google Play release. Some features are still experimental, and your progress stays on your device with no account or cross-device sync.

  • Available on iPhone through the App Store.
  • Android beta testing is underway; Google Play availability will follow.
  • Your training stays on this device — no account, no cross-device sync, no backup.
  • The optional listen-along audio streams from EveryAyah.com; that request carries ordinary network information.
  • No ads, and no tracking of your reading across devices.

Questions

A few honest answers.

Is this a Quran reader?

No. It's a reading gym — short practice sessions that build recognition of Quranic words. A full reader is included and never gated, but the app is meant to send you back to your own Mushaf.

Do I need an account? Does my progress sync?

No account, and no sync. Your training stays on this device and isn't backed up. Change phones or reinstall, and you start fresh.

What languages does it support?

The interface is English and French. The Quran itself is shown in Arabic, with English or French translation and transliteration available.

Is the recitation audio synced to each word?

No. The listen-along audio is an optional, experimental aid with approximate timing. The word-by-word pacing you see comes from the visual pacer, not the audio.
